About Lucia
Engineering to Psychotherapy
Early in my engineering career, I discovered that my true passion was not in calculating the load a bridge could carry, but in supporting people’s mental health and building meaningful connections. This led me to transition into psychotherapy, where I now combine analytical skills with deep empathy to support my clients.
Mental Health Experience
I have worked with adults and youth in a variety of settings, providing therapy for those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and 2SLGBTQIA+ identity exploration. My experience also includes:
Providing therapy to survivors of motor vehicle accident trauma
Volunteering as a crisis line counsellor with the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre
Working in case management ages 15-26 and 55+
Housing stability services for individuals with a history of homelessness.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that therapeutic change begins with a strong, trusting relationship. My approach is genuine, collaborative, and inclusive. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore even the most difficult experiences at their own pace.
Outside of Work
I love watching movies (ex. Lord of the Rings, Hacksaw Ridge, My Big Fat Greek Wedding)
TV shows (ex. The Office, Superstore, Game of Thrones, Euphoria)
Experimenting with pasta recipes
Trying new workout classes
Spending time with animals
